How I can help you

I can help you with community development, fundraising, and communications and marketing.

My career has included a range of roles in management, marketing, fundraising, program delivery, policy research, and grant writing in academia, state and local government, and other non-profits. My focus as a communications and community developer has been to bring together disparate constituencies to find creative, collaborative solutions to problems and opportunities.

My most recent position was as executive director and responsible for overall administration of the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District, Inc., and executive vice president and CEO of the Mohawk Valley Rehabilitation Corporation. Currently, I'm operating a small business focused on creative writing material and solutions for growing and start-up businesses.

Previously, I worked for the National Development Council and was responsible for media relations and research and analysis of nationwide tax credit financing programs. Previous roles in academia were at Utica College of Syracuse University and Siena College. When working in state government, I managed the district office for the (former) Office of the United States Senator Hilary Rodman Clinton and managed the home office for the (former) Office of United States Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

Early roles in local government agencies where with City of Utica Department of Urban & Economic Development, Utica Area Chamber of Commerce, and Oneida County Office for the Aging.

If you want to explore creative options to pair with business and managerial skills to find success in your venture, give me a call.
